Possibly autobiographical in nature. “There was a wonderful, elegant girl of about fifteen to twenty years of age selling lemonade from a cart, so I asked her for a cup (even though what I really wanted was glass of beer). When doing so, I realized she was a guy. The lemons tasted bittersweet.”
