Gu Yun returns to his hometown to fulfill his father's last wish, and meets his childhood friend, Lu Yihan, through an assassination attempt by the Lucas family. Despite the endless issues and incidents, Gu Yun developed a strong relationship with Lu Yihan. As they endured hardships together, they grew closer and eventually became close friends.
