It eventually merges with the main series in the volume edition. The kind of stories these are is all in the title! 不揃 (fuzoroi) means uneven, irregular, but also incomplete. 連理 (renri) is "entwined relationship". So, these are stories of intimate relationships between "incomplete" girls that somehow complete each other, against all odds.
